Alfred Gray in a press conference on Wednesday announced the upcoming Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the Cat Island Regatta July 29 to August 1, 2016 in New Bight Cat Island, and that Co-Founder of the Cat Island Regatta Godfrey Kelly would be honoured.

Cat Island Sailing Association comes to the aid of deserving youth
The Cat Island Sailing Association continues to invest in the youth of Cat Island by awarding academic scholarships. For the second consecutive year, and with the help of the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC), the association has provided financial assistance to four young people who hail from the island, with each student being granted $500.
